2024 3 Frame NUC (nucleus colony) with 2024 Pointer Bee Farm Queen (open mated production queen). These are queens from our mating yards located in New Jersey. In most cases they are a random mix of all the different lines that we raise. When purchasing (or pre-purchasing) this item you will get a 3 Frame Deep Nucleus Colony with a young, 2024 Pointer Bee Farm mated queen installed and laying. Our NUCS come in a 5 Frame deep cardboard nuc box. Please bring 2 New let me say it again New frames so the other 3 frames don’t move in transit , if you don't have frames we can supply you with 2 empty frames for $10.00 and may already be starting to be drawn out by the time you pick up your 3 frame Nuc. Our Nuc configuration consists of 3 deep frames of bees, brood & honey. We estimate for the 2023 season that our 3 Frame Nucs should be ready to pick up around the 6th of May. Of course this depends on the weather and could vary a few weeks earlier or later. In the event of any unforeseen circumstances that might prevent us from supplying your 3 frame nuc during the 2023 season, we will offer a full refund of the purchase price through PayPal. Our Nucs are available for local pickup only, we do not ship Nucs. Thanks for your Business! PBF Tidbit: We prefer do the three frames of bees rather than a 3lb package of bees. We find that since you are starting with a queen already laying and 3 frames of drawn comb you can leave them in the nuc box thus allowing for quicker buildup. When the box is full and the other 2 frames are drawn out you can move them to a larger hive.
